I think Forrest Gump had it right when he said “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get”. Kids are the same way, just like us big kids. We all have great days and not so great days and we are always evolving and changing. When I’m preparing for a children’s session I try to stack the deck (so to speak) in my favor. We collect information from mom and dad, we’ve chosen the best time of day, we have the studio and equipment ready and the we all pray that little Johnny or Debbie will be in a great mood today. Eight out of ten times that works! For the other twenty percent of sessions I”m fortunate to have had over 20 years worth of experience working with and photographing kids of all ages. We approach each session as unique to itself and help guide it in the best direction. All we have left to do is “open the box of chocolates” and capture the wonder that is our children.
Local Session Fees:
- In the Studio $35
- In the Park $35 (San Gabriel Park or our Studio Garden)
- Sun City $55
- In Home Session $75
- Zilker or other Austin Location $125
- A $200 retainer is required to secure your session time and is applied to your purchase.
